DaveT,
Good move to the GS Spyder...I bought mine last year...2006 GS Spyder here in Florida. Found out from Maserati USA that I have one of 274 imported to the US...a rare car indeed in the land of Detorit steel.
Good luck with it...PS I just had the F1 pump replaced at 15,000 miles and...wait for it...got 6,000 miles on the last set of front tires (or is that tyres?).

Cracking choice Dave, there really isnt many of them around at all! I dont have the stats to hand, but low 20's and I know at least one has gone to Aus. Very envious and definitely one of the ones to buy if its a keeper (that or an MCV).

Well done, looking forward to seeing some pics or even in person if you're going to Stanford Hall on 3rd June.

Cheers

Mmmm how did you guess Miles? Not told a soul before tonight - have you got "The Shining" then?:)

Anyway, was looking at moving up to GT then after weeks of debate decided against for a variety of reasons. Physical size of car, performance, running costs etc
Thought I wanted something a bit unique that I could hold on to for the longer term.

Been pondering the GS Spyder since it went up for sale a few weeks ago. Had a chat with Dicky at the weekend and met up today.

Lovely car, fantastic condition, low miles and has wanted for nothing as it was previously Marios from Autoshield's car.
Well pleased.

Cheers

Dave

Congratulation Dave, Marios GS Spyder is truely superb, in better than new condition, and has wanted for nothing. I think it has spent 90% of its time cacooned inside his dehumidifer baloon.

I am well jealous.

That crazy black GS spyder with yellow calipers was at the Swedish Maserati meeting, a couple of years ago. Had the chance to meet him and his wife, also had the chance to race with him on track. But his car was not beautiful enough, so mine won the 1st prize on Concours d'Elegance.... Good memories.. :)

Does anyone know him? Is he a forum guy?

Dave,
Very well done on your purchase mate. I have seen Marios Spyder only a few weeks ago and he mentioned he was thinking of selling, but that went really fast. It is a lovely car and from memory only has around 4K miles on her, like new! Enjoy her, I am quite jealous now!!
Cheers

The car was for sale in the UK about 3 years ago, i saw it at a supercar show and then saw it again last year at Auto Italia, it is RHD and absolutely stunning although i cam away from that event hankering so badly for a Ghibli Cup. I still think of them an awful lot.

Hi DaveT

Nice to meet you briefly at Autoshield the other day whilst I was dropping off my 3200 for a service and you were shaking hands on your new Spyder.

That is a amazing looking car and I always used to drool over its squeeky clean body. Have a fab summer in it.

And nice to meet you too Richard, good to put a face to a "Dickygrace" name...:)

Cheers
