Nope just put word out mate, two lads at petrol station today we're looking around it so I told them
Some fucksticks jumped on it and they said leave it with them and sure enough knock at the door from two younger lads with names. It's a difficult one as i doubt they can prosecute without evidence but if they are known to the plod then they could be pushed into something I'm sure. 15 and 12 years !

Sorry to hear the bad news on your car Phil, it really is a minority that ruins it for all of us. I feel for you and hope that the insurance get it sorted for you as painlessly as possible.

Having dealt with the Police in the last 12 months I can honestly say they are a total waste of time, the juniors don't know the law fully and when questioned about it their Sergent nearly arrested me!

They cannot use anything on the outside of the car because 'they' could have just touched it when passing last Tuesday when shopping, yeah right. In our case the Police were so unhelpful we complained and have now moved house to get rid of our problem, because the Police were unable (read were hopeless) to help. We lived on an estate in a nice part of town. Unfortunately some of the houses were bought by some not so nice people as it turns out.

It probably did us a favour as it forced our hand and luckily we were able to move - the house sold quickly and we found somewhere in a non-estate location; I would recommend this and we'll never go back to that situation again.

As for CCTV we now have a Maplin system, came with a 2TB HDD and two HD camera's but they do need to be wired back and the system comes with everything you need apart from the monitor. It links to the Internet and you can view on your iPhone remotely. Perfect for us and less than £250.
