I'm paying about £850. I'm not yet 30yrs old. I live in London. I don't have a garage (though may rent one). I also have 3 points.

That's through Adrian Flux.

That's really interesting. I seem to recall Adrian Flux quoted me £1300.

£1300!!! Do you live in the Bronx?

Get it on a classic car policy man....

It can be like the Bronx at times! No it's not that bad really, and besides the car is always garaged and even the garage has an alarm!

I don't really understand how I can be quoted SO much more..?? (unless my reputation precedes me!).

Ours are usually around the £350-£400 mark from memory..!!

Who with, Saga? I've just got my renewal quote from Classicline for £701 which includes; foreign travel, windscreen, 10k miles, £250 excess, hire car and legal cover. Adrian Flux came in at £575 with all the above but a £500 excess. Told Classicline and they price matched, also with a £500 excess, so I'll stay with them.

since I am looking to get one in the near future I've obviously been checking insurance quotes. early 50s, more than 10 yrs no claims - insurance ranging from 195 - 300plus, though the protected no claims do not start till 230 so would be happy with that:goodnews:

Was insured with them last year. They always seem to come up cheap but never had to claim though so can't really comment.

I'm paying £260 for the Maserati as part of a multi-car policy with Admiral, garaged and limited mileage (6k miles I think).

Went on one if the comparison sites (not the fat opera singing ****) and with a claim 4 years ago and the wife on there, full comp protected was £330 which I thought was great.
