Who did you use for parts? I will need to be ordering stuff soon,(ish.)

Jamie Porter / Alfa Workshop, well you have to support the good guys.

I could have saved a fiver ordering all separately on EBay but couldn't be bothered.

Jamie is certainly one of the good guys and he has one of the best big boys toy boxes - from a Montreal engined Matta, a race tuned 4C & a Sabre tank :)

It's all back together now and looks the business.

After I went through the mechanicals, then repainted it, I turned my attention to the brakes/exhaust and suspention.

All have been rebuilt, repainted and it passed its MOT yesterday. An advisory on the rear caliper I think it just needs cycling to free it up.

Will be bringing it on Thursday to Ace.

That looks stunning. Mine is in even more bits now! Just waiting on the garage to free up space while I acquire more new parts. Been looking around for good spray shops reasonably local.

Looking good. I hope the top doesn't leak - looks like rain for Thursday!

What parts are you after Allan, I might be able to help.
Thanks, nothing major, got all the big bits, just ender bonnet trim screws and the like. I should be able to pick them up reasonably easily. I need to track down the part of the induction that sits inside the bumper that goes to the filter case, can't remember it's correct name. I've ended up robbing all the big parts I need from the GTV to make good the Spider, once it's done I shall turn the GTV into exactly how I want it, a blank canvas so to speak :)

Yep, hood it very good, the water leak I have is a familiar one the you lot will recognise, wet passenger footwell...you guessed it, blocked pollen filter drain. So many parts on the GTV are the same as the Maser Coupe, even its faults are the same :)

Italian spiders, what could go wrong? Best you get a decent Italian spyder to get a bit of credibility. I promise I won't take the p!ss!

Let me assimilate this; the owner of SportsMASERATI is going to pitch up on a cheap Italian Alfa spunker. Wtf is he thinking, if indeed he is capable of rational thought.
