Ctek question

I think mine's the same as Catman's; there's a few different settings but the ctek decides for itself. I shut the boot and keep the cover on and it seems fine though the instructions do say that you shouldn't use it in enclosed spaces. There doesn't seem to be any heat in the boot when I open it.

Just come back to my car after three weeks and it has the tracker.

Cteck (Lidl brand) connected and on green when I opened the garage door and started first press..nice long run till the fans kicked in and once round the block just to unflatten the tyres.

Now back to bed for the rest of the month.

Nice one Peter, I used my lidl one and it is so easy. Took her for a good long run today too. Lots of nice comments too which is always nice :)

the point is not the heat, but the Battery might produce Oxigen and Hydrogen Gas when charging.. (typically this happens at the end of the charging process, or on older batteries- if it`s very silent one can hear the small bubbles) and this should not collect somewhere as it potentially can explode when ignited
