Thank you Chrisbasset, just received the extra 15 GBP for shipping :)

Not sure about the torque spec from the factory: since the specs are now different, I would not take it for granted.
Do what you want but please listen to my warning: I don't want anyone here to lose a wheel! This is not my responsibility, use these at your own risk but common sense says that you have to triple check everything. I read so many things about spacers on so many car forums that I did make sure they were tight when I installed mine.

As far as I know, they are on my car and Isa's car for now, not sure what torque he used. For me, I torqued it without checking the value: just as hard as I could. And I checked twice: after a very short ride (300 feet) and after a 5/10 minutes drive. And just for good conscience, I checked it again a couple of weeks later. Since then the car has been driven on the road and on the track with no issues at all.

I'm probably just going to take mine to a local garage as I recently discovered that I don't have a trolley jack or tyre wrench...amazing what you lose when you move house

Just had my spacers fitted and I have to say I'm really pleased with the results. The only fly in the ointment is one of the bolts wouldn't go in. The garage said they were all a bit tight so just a watch out. They Are In The process Of Getting one made for me so just a watch out for anyone who is yet to fit them.

This was one of my concerns.

I had the same thing happen with one of the stainless steel bolts from Sprogs but he sent a replacement by return, can't see that happening from China?

Any chance the bolt could be re-threaded?

Anyone else experienced the same?

I'm hoping to fit mine this weekend and pray there's no hitch!

I'm currently running (albeit slowly) with 4 bolts in one of the rear wheels. Garage said they will have the new one by Friday

Also my sky hook warning light has come on which I'm hoping is unrelated as it has come on before.

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm whinging. I'm really pleased with the way it looks and I swear it handles better. Hopefully it will all be resolved in the next few days.

I really would check with a torque wrench. You can tighten a wheel bolt by hand using a wheel wrench, and you think you have tighten as hard as you can. Then you put a torque wrench on, and with the long lever of the wrench you might be surprised it turns a little more before the 'click' of wrench!

Wish I had a jack...family is off to the seaside tomorrow so I have a day to myself, and would love to spend it putting on my new spacers. Was going to get it done with a change of tyres as well, but with brunty on the horizon I really can't see a reason to put new boots on just to shred them on the concrete runway!

Sorry, I had no problem with mine, I hope it is just an isolated case. I could complain and get some spare bolts but I would have to ship it.... :(
I don't think the skyhook is related, I have no problems on my side with that.
Cheers

Drove the car today with no sky hook warning so no worries there. Still waiting to get the replacement from the garage.
