There were only 6 other people in the entire theater...and the one closest to us lets you reserve your seats. Agree on the price of concessions, which is why Courtney has such a big purse!

The people in the seats closest to you allow you to reserve seats? Good of them! ;)

I went to see this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I hadn’t realised the focus was so specifically set around the 1957 Mille Miglia and the rivalry with Maserati. Some awesome cars are featured with a bit artistic licence taken in some of the racing scenes(?) but showcasing Michael Mann at his best with those feelings of proximity and realism that he brings to the big screen so well.

My local cinema (The Rex Berkhamsted) is a wonderful art deco place with large comfortable seats (exec chairs if you want) two bars open though-out the screening, drinks served in glasses and no popcorn or crisps. If you want a nibble it’s cheese and biscuits or sweets from a tub, so no rustling.
They have a sister place in StAlbans which is equally wonderful.

The Regal in Evesham is something similar, so we're going there - but have to be patient.

Look forward to seeing it but will wait for it to hit Netflix early 2024. Can’t think of anything worse than sitting in those uncomfortable cinema seats with people chomping on pop corn and scrunching empty sweet packages. Comfort of my own home for me.
When you see people with 2 litres of coke and a bucket of popcorn...and diabetes...

We have a 'Rex' in Wareham, which we will be trying soon, believe ours is run by a charitable trust

Our local flea pit is a tiny two screen affair, but has good sounds and a large enough screen. Best of all, no families! It's not the kids, its the parents....

@jasst
have you been to the theatre in Wimbourne, run on similar lines.

Just watched this in the Curzon at Camden. Superb cinema. Clean, comfy, and the screen image was sharp and sound not deafening.

I enjoyed the movie and thought the racing scenes were about right. I learnt a bit about Enzo that I hadn’t appreciated. The Maser 450S that Stig drove was gorgeous.

If that accident was a fraction as real as the actual one it must have been horrific. No surprise it was the final MM.

Looking forward to seeing it at home when it’s released.

Went to see it the other night and really enjoyed it. It’s a biopic not a car movie although there are some lovely cars in it and great sound effects. Penelope Cruz is great in it.

Watched it at the local Odeon and there were only about 10 people in including someone in a fake Ferrari jacket(!). If you want to see it on the big screen then you probably need to get a move on.
