Long lap penalty anyone?

It works well in MotoGp. Basically on a single corner there's an extra longer loop. You've probably seen them on tracks where F1 and MotoGP both race. It adds 3-4 seconds to a miscreant's lap time and they have to stay within the white lines otherwise they have to do it again. The great thing is, it doesn't destroy a competitor's race. Many racers have had to take the long lap and have won a race.

So in the case of Max having to give the position back, if he had to do a longer lap he would be completely out of the way. Provided that Lewis was close enough behind.

Another way is to disable DRS for the person giving the place back... No room for "misunderstandings" then

Stonking lap by Max and RB for pole, should be an exciting race for those of you not going to Gloucester for Christmas shopping

Gloucester…I work there and was there the other weekend for Christmas shopping. Better places buddy….But if you do go Greek on the Docks is nice for food or the Italian by the side of it.

We’re only 40 mins away. We go there quite often it’s just an excuse for a mooch around the tat and lunch at the docks. We like the Mediterranean place opposite the Greek.

Ms has been locked away with Covid for the last week and a bit so it’s where she wants to go.

Spent my late teens in Gloucester and still like to go back when in the UK and show Ms French old haunts.
