And pull in various directions to get enough clearance.

We also had to apply lots of heat. A proper pipe expander would have made things a *lot* easier.

We've done a few of these now and it seems to vary from car to car. Some are absolute bast4rds and some fall apart quite easily. Let us know how you get on!

Hi guys,

I am new to this amazing community of Maserati lovers.
I just finished replacing the squashed pipe with the secondary cat with an hand made look like the Larini one. I am very pleased with performance improvement, sound was is still to quite.
Total cost just 300 pounds
Herewith some photos of the work.
My next improvement will be to swap the manifold with the uk version and move a 200cell cat on the secondary pipe.

Open to any input/suggestions

Looks good, roberto...just avoid tall speed-humps! Next should be to put in an un-silenced x-pipe as that will give you a much better sound and help the breathing for a small outlay!

I was thinking that depending on the sound change due to the manifold work to for a custom Larini look like H pipe instead o X pipe.
What do u have?

Great looking pipes and what a fantastic price...now if you could turn those out at £300 a set I am sure there would be a few here who would buy.

Hi Roberto

I recently had a Larini H-pipe fitted - it has upped the volume a few decibels. The sound though is phenomenal under acceleration! :alan4:
