Great heads up. I'll check the relays and hopefully square it.

Thread resurrection! So i had the window ecu replaced by adg and all has been fine and dandy...... Until now!

Similar problem has come back this time there is a long delay before window pops back up after closing the door. Checked the passenger footwell and its soaked. I thought i could smell damp the other day and noticed condensation. So my question is what do i do now? Im not risking getting in the car again until weather gets better as it will be a disaster if window doesnt close. What is the cause of water ingress in footwell? Is this something i can fix myself or does it need to go back to adg?

Thanks,

Stef

It's probably the pollen filter drains blocked. There's a thread on here will full details. Not a hard fix.

Great. I assume if the footwell dries up sufficiently, the windows will return to normal operation? Or do you think the damage has been done? Thanks

Well you can cross fingers that nothing has been permanently damaged. Wait and see I think is probably the advice.

Doe the ECU come apart (hollow laugh) as some WD40 may help but I accept no responsibility.

Windows working fine now after a long drive with heaters on footwells on. So at least car is useable until i get it to giallos for them to find the source of the water ingress!
