Yep, same running costs as a F355 but at a fraction of the initial purchase price. The fact is that if the going rate for a 3200 was £40K most people would not baulk at the running costs. BUT if you look at the prices of 3200's outside of the UK you start to see that it is the Brits that have the issue with the cars and kill the second hand value.
The way I look at it we are very lucky to be able to pick these cars up for a song and the running costs are not that bad for an exotic with it's levels of rarity. Yes, a 4200 is less to run than a 3200 and a GS is in turn less to run than a 4200 but that is the same for F355, 360 430 and pretty much any marque of note that you may buy. The key is to buy what you like and can afford to buy and run - otherwise disappointment is guaranteed.
