Frank,
Welcome to the forum.
LE spec cars started in 2006 but not all 2006 or later cars are LE. The LE pack included:
- seatta badges (as Matt has pointed out above)
- leather headlining
- full leather
- heated electric seats (with memory on drivers seat)
- Xenons
- Auditoruim 200 (stereo upgrade)
- red callipers
- CD Changer
- Trofeo Mercury Grey alloys (though these could be spec'd as silver as a no cost option)
- Electro chromatic rear view mirror
- Rear parking sensors
IIRC this was a £3175 option which was cheaper than specing them individually.
Is it the car in the pic, below? If so, I would say it is an LE as it has the grey alloys, seatta badges and red callipers. It looked very tidy in the pics on AT a couple of weeks back.
re value - whats anything worth? As advised above, get it inspected (I think even Meridien will do this for you, probalby a couple of hundred quid and they'll want to see the car at their premisis - as mentioned, an Indi will do it too if there's one near by).
The other tip I'd have is speak to the garage that has serviced it. If its one owner, has it been serviced in Meridien? If so, speak to Dominic in Service - I've found him very helpful during my search as a couple of possibles have been looked after there. They can also quote for the next due service.
Other than that, if you really want to go to town, you can ring Maserati UK and ask to speak to someone in the Technical team - give them the last 6 digits of the VIN and they'll tell you the exact spec on the car. Again, I've found these chaps very helful during my search.
Whatever you do though, get it inspected - it doest take much for the bills to get big!
Best of luck in your search, keep us posted on how you get on.
