This is my friends car. If anyone's fancies it, a private deal could be arranged. It's in stunning condition - there's not a mark on it.
That is a lovely lovely Aston. If I had the money....which I don't....that would certainly be up there to satisfy my V12 itch.

I should have worked harder at school! I couldn't have worked hard than I have since then though. Still can't afford it!!

Well you have done well for not doing well at school!!!
I hardly went..............so I guess I only have myself to blame.....found out 10 years too late I was actually not thick at all.!!!!

Well I own what I have except half a house. I still can't afford that lovely Aston though.

My problem is that school never engaged me and I'm not very good at exams as can't remember answers to questions that I haven't done with my hands.

I do remember zillions of passwords and IP addresses from various places over many years but more my brain being trained after 25 years in IT.

I prefer working with my hands and my brain and not just my brain.

I don't think many of us are silly on here. Plenty of clever people. Including your goodself

I am similar all though once I got my finger out I realised I could read pages and pages and regurgitate if practically verbatim for exams and then promptly forget it.....

GT
I am actually enjoying the Fiat 500 as a daily, little 1200 engine but I hustled it along the back roads to work quicker than my 2.0l Passat, even when I was into corners too quick it just turned and kept on hustling, dies like a damp fart on any big hills but hey ho, and my bike fits in the back.

Will look got a GT when I get back from holidays, will drive through to Oct/Nov then store for Winter...........

When are we building those houses!!!!!!

You get a bike in the back of a 500? Not bad as wouldn't expect that. I can see it is good to hustle along B roads. The 306 GTi-6 is great fun for that.

Yup, need to crack on with the houses. I've had too many distractions taking my time. All my own doing of course. It is definitely happening this year or never. I'll let you know once I've had the site visit from the local planning guys.

I went out in mine
Today- to tescos
Of all places! Had so many looks on the way- mostly from kids. And it sounded insane...
Parked
Next to ..another black GTS. They looked completely different cars- I didn't realise how much the MC handling pack lowered it and the carbon packs made it look more menacing.
Made me really rethink changing it... but I really want a convertible.
No idea what to do

Send it too me.....I will look after it and when you are missing it you can ask for it back......nicely mind....

I guess ask yourself the question would you have had the same looks in a cabrio.........in February......or looks of incredulation!!!!!!

I prefer working with my hands and my brain and not just my brain.

Interestingly the owner of this Aston also works with his hands. He builds boats, cars, bikes... I can't think of anything he can't/doesn't build. Very talented.

Man after my own heart. Dying breed. Nice taste in cars as well.

If I had better schooling I would like to have been in engineering either automotive or construction. Maybe in my next life.

I think the V12 Vantage appeals so much apart from those stunning looks is that the V12 sits in such a small car. Most V12's are in big heavy GT's.
