The members that came are looking to purchase the Evija, but also got behind the wheel of Emira GT4 as well.

I saw Evija in 2020 for the very first time at Salon Privé and was totally blown away by its looks. Not once did I ever imagine driving it… Let alone on a Grand Prix Circuit in Portugal!
The car was dialled back to a mere 800bhp for me behind the wheel today. Much less than half of its total power output, but even with this restriction it still delivered ‘face peeling’ acceleration! I genuinely can’t even begin to imagine what 2,000+bhp feels like at full throttle!! Even the thought of that makes me feel a little nervous…
The car felt absolutely perfect in every way you’d want a Supercar to be, not once did I miss the engine sound or exhaust note, in fact it never even entered my mind when I was driving it. Which was one of the factors that actually surprised me the most!
If you take away the sound from any Super or Hypercar what do you want? Balance, steering feel, blistering performance, grip, brilliant handling, the wow factor?
The Evija had all of the above, but on steroids.
P.s. I’ll even admit the electric motor noises got a bit addictive in the end! I think the car isn’t to get rid of the combustion engine but instead to compliment it, park it next to your Bugatti with pride and celebrate the next generation of automotive excellence…
