Just spent nearly a million quid on a new garage for the Maserati and it wouldn't fit..............

Its a nice fit, but just for peace of mind i would call the handyman and have the pipe and wall moved out of the way.

I now need to think of a plan to lift the roof of the garage to put 2 lifts and continue to add to the garage...

Going back a few years I took some rather drastic action to free up some space in our two adjoining singles....Much easier to get on and out of the Maser now, plus it made for a nicer workspace for tinkering.

Never taken a picture specially of the garage but lucky to have “space”..

Max I got in there was 11 cars in one go. 7 is comfortable with no farting around.

80% is a mezzanine so lots of car bits can be stored

Yup, spent a fortune on a Stradale, then bought a very nice tailor-made cover but felt that wasn’t enough so built a better car cover.......
10m wide with a larger locked garage than the open bays BUT still wish I’d squeezed more space.

You boys need to come to France.
This is my project house and workshop.View attachment 62555
Well, it all depends where about you’re buying in France... I am looking at buying a secondary residence near the seaside there, and let’s just say that I will be lucky if I manage to close on something below 7 figures. And that won’t even include a 1 car garage :(

Lovely! I am getting quotes to build a 2 car version of what you have - effectively the left side of your build - and I am getting huge swings in pricing.
Would you mind PMing me what you ended paying for your build?
