Mine is getting a new stereo today, sailed through the MOT except for the airbag warning light which has been on for 3 years so trying to get that sorted. Other than that servicing it myself this year has opened my eyes to a whole load of jobs to do over the winter to bring it up to scratch. Nothing ultra urgent, just a lot of little bits and pieces.

Got a Sanef auto toll thingy majigy.

my rears should last Le mans depending on how many wheel spins i do

I have seen your rears, lets just hope it doesn't rain (which it always does)

Packed the boot yesterday, I have the spare wheel, Martyn, you can carry the spares kit.

Meeting MAF for lunch tomorrow or Thursday to pick up my brakes so Ill sling them on and check the work I did earlier in the year.

Mine got an advisory at MOT a few weeks ago. The little humps between the treads aren't quite level with the rest of the tyre yet. Need to decide whether to deal with them pre or post-Le Mans.

I advise doing it pre-Le Mans. You'll be driving a lot and expecting a great deal from the car with some hard driving.

Agree, nail any little issues like that plus it will give the filth any reason to impound the car.

That's pretty expensive for part-worns but I agree, it's not worth putting anything better than that on a 3200. Are they both the same make?

It's the unpredictable Loire weather which prompted me to change mine. They're pretty good in the dry but were getting a bit too smooth to disperse water very effectively. Oh, and the possibility of getting my car impounded didn't appeal much, either.

If they are 3mm across the whole tyre then that is fine, on the limit, but fine.

I remember when eyeballing them they looked on the wear markers though.
