LED daytime running lights on pre-facelift QP

I agree. This was the QP on the website - apparently in Japan? Just that this was the first pic I'd seen of someone putting fogs on a pre-facelift QP.

Go for it Shak, it's your car at the end of the day and you've already said any mod you make will be reversible, so it seems like a win, win. For what little it's worth, I like the lights you're considering and would do the same myself. Hope to see pictures if you choose to proceed. Cheers, Miles.

Thanks very much Miles! Did you mean the first pics with the lights behind the grilles or the third pic (these ones would protrude, say 1 cm, from the lower grilles)?

Sorry Shak, should have clarified! Behind I think as the mesh would afford some protection from stone chips.

Does anyone know what LED bulbs can be used to replace existing Day time Running lights bulbs on my 2009 QP? I am trying to find L.ED repkacement bulbs which don't trigger the dash warning lights.
