Looks nice, certainly worth looking at and asking about service history. Unusual colour not seen that one before I like it.

I love that colour, ok it might be a bit 'marmite' but have always thought it was the dogs.

Not a fan of the colour...There was a QP and spider for sale in the same colour a few months or so ago...

It is a very personal thing colour choice,...as we all know.
I like the outside, and I like the inside...
but for me, there is not enough contrast between the two,
so would not be my choice.

Thought it was Gordon's at first, but it's in Leicester. Never seen it around? Close enough for me to take a look if anyone wants.........

Oh and it's Quarzo Dolomite.

If they didn't get a bid at 10 why would they expect one at 13k....Saying that they wanted 13k all along.....

It hard to understand the strategy people use . This is why I always prefer a straight advert you then know the top price and have a point to start negociating from. How many cars do you see on Ebay that are supposedly sold only to find then relisted a week later.

I was in contact with the seller before and since the price rise.
In my last conversation I asked when a good time to view was and he told me he was after £13k.
He (apparently) had an offer for £11.5k which he refused.
From earlier contact he sent some full size photos through and from what I've seen of the car I was not prepared to offer more, so told him to take the offer and to get in touch with me if it falls through.
I agree with Rex, difficult to understand why someone would advertise a car for less than they actually want for it, perhaps he thought the bidding would go mad and he's end up with more than he expected?

if he comes back to me, I'll let you know.

He probably read this thread and thinking the colour was going to be hard to shift, to find people actually prefered it might have had something to do with the price rise maybe?

quite possibly.
At least he had the decency to tell me before I took the day to go and see it.

I think you did the right thing, put your offer down on the table and leave it with him.

If he can't sell it at 13, then he might reconsider your offer.

What would he have done if someone had put a last minute £10k bid in on ebay though? It had no reserve!

I would have thought he had a friend on the other end waiting to put a bid in so it didn't sell.....
