According to the road tests I've read, the V6 is the better car to have especially the V6S. Apparently the V8 is likely to be a little too much for the majority of drivers.

Saw one last week coming back from Bedford..Stunning car and a very desirable Jag...

I sat in a peach of an F-Type at the weekend, and the very encouraging rep told me there's some quite heavy discounting on the price of new Jags. I don't think he was too impressed when he saw me drive off in my Pug 206 though.

F Type looks great but no boot space at all if you carry a spare tyre...makes the 4200 rear look huge. I have one next to me and its just a weekend toy rather than a car for trotting round Europe in

so no golf bats unlike the 4200, bag and bats, now that's nice.

Take a look in EVO 183 and you will see just how small it is. Two carrier bags either side and that's your lot...Not the most stylish entry to a nice hotel in Monaco with two Asda bags (sorry Andy, no offence intended)

With discounts being offered and dealers with sales quotas to meet I reckon the 1 year old car will be sub 40k for the V6 which still looks expensive next to a Boxster which has 2 boots and a better badge.

If they forget the V8 and just made one V6 with big turbos then priced it at £44,995.00 they wouldn't have to discount and they would have stormed the market. Typical Jag.

It looks fantastic but will it excite or disappoint. One thing for sure with Maserati or Ferrari is they excite. The only thing to take it away can be big costs.

The cars have been received well by the press Phil and they do sound awesome. As you know the guy next door works for Grange Jaguar and brings home a number of demonstrators including three of these over the last month...makes the house shake when he drives under it.

That coupe concept looks amazing. I wonder how much the final version will change from this?

Phil, I'm sure they will excite as the roadster reviews have brilliant...add a stiffer body to it with a roof and it can only get better....for me the concept excites just standing still....A spot on piece of design.

The F Roadsters does Dem....not far removed from the concept.....I think they are on to a winner with this one....
