The Coupe is due some time (summer) next year and I could not comment on its overall looks compared to the CX16 prototype at LA. but this pic was from Autocar and ive seen it around Coventry.

jaguar-f-type-coupe-spy-4.jpg

Ive tried the F and its a stormer (interior great) but it should of been 45K not 67K as its competing against the Cayman/Boxster S really and the CaymanS is one of the best handling cars ive been in and 48K in base. The coupe will hopefully be stiffer.

The discussion between a Ferrari and a Maserati is wide open, from my experience; they are different cars for different types of driving, but they are all great though - masers. lambos, ferrari's, etc most peoples dream cars regardless how much they cost.

All Italian cars are good in my opinion - except the current Chrysler Lancia's things.

Being copied is the most sincere form of flattery...now they need to take the next step with the GT

Agree Frank...let's see what they come up with...Let's hope it's not a step backwards.

Agree that the price of the F type is wrong. Boot seems very small too. Still glad that they have made it.

I said ages ago that the "F" type was a Maserati look-a-like, or it should be. If it performs and priced right, they are on to a winner..!!

I think the 4C is a great piece of design, that could of been a maserati 2 seater if it had more power

The Grandturismo could've done with a set of boomerang lights, in my opinion.

I just hope they don't put those generic LED lines in the headlights of any new cars like all manufacturers tend to be pandering to these days.

I agree that the 4C should have a Maserati badge on it, but seeing as it doesn't, I take it they have something even more dribble inducing coming off the drawing board....

IT should have a Maserati badge on it as at 50k plus it too much for an Alfa with a 1700 engiine in it...

I met a friend of mine for the first time in thirty odd years at a family lunch yesterday. He'd just driven up from the Goodwood Supercar event in his brand spanking new 458 spider. It is so aching beautiful and can do everything. As far as I am concerned that car is in a completely different league to any Maserati.

Plus, he's a lovely chap too.The sod!

:D

He sounds quite unpleasant, Elliot. I hope you kicked him in the shins and pointed out that his car is deficient to the tune of two seats.

More seriously, I saw an F12 at Lancaster last week. It's bewitchingly gorgeous.

If it helps, I can confirm that, as a Ferrari owner for nearly a decade, that I'm a right sod too! ;)

But I also love our Mazza's too so I guess that makes me a stonkingly great big *** of a sod! ;)
