The barrier to entry to owning these cars is low, especially relative to their initial cost when new. However, buyer be warned that the cost of maintaining these incredible beasts is higher than what you'd typically pay for an equivalent £15-30k car... as Eb says, £2-3k is a reasonable figure which us QP owners can vouch for, but be prepared for some years when a major service is due and other 'bits' pop up which could push it up to £4k for example. I made a crude but short running report of my time in ownership, might be useful info for you? https://www.sportsmaserati.com/inde...rt-2-years-in-and-counting.31371/#post-873142Looks like there's a lot that can go wrong with this car
Also... cheap cars can be cheap for a reason, hence why we're all in favour of a PPI/pre-purchase inspection. Don't be paralysed by all the analysis... get an inspection done to give yourself peace of mind, run the man maths calculator and if it all adds up, get your V8 out on the road before they ban us from using ICE powered cars through taxation or what have you.
