Phil,

Sorry, can't help it! Every time I walk across a car park to it I just pinch myself.. looking at it sitting there in amongst all the other "metal" I just think "what a stunner!"..

Aston or 3200?.. sorry no contest.. Aston's are ten a penny these days alongside Porsches.. Our beauties are rare and I've yet to find somebody who doesn't appreciate them. Just ask the guy in his brand new Mercedes convertible staring slack jawed at the Masser in the petrol station next to me yesterday. :)

Just been out in her and some guy stopped on high street and asked what it was and also commented how great it looked. I think I have made my decision!

Modern astons just don't have the soul. They're very comfortable places to sit, but not much different to drive than any other luxo-barge.

The DB9 was a really ground breaking design but since then, every car they've made looks the same. They even made the Rapide look like the two door. These days the only way to tell which model it is is to count the bonnet louvres and look at the wheels. All very samey and, IMO, getting duller by the day.

Oh so there *is* a way of telling them apart!

I'll take a Maserati, any day of the week and twice at the weekend, please.
