That`s perfect, John, although I presume your missus won`t want Benny leading the convoy! Unfortunately it looks as though I will be on my own as my missus is still not too good.

Sorry Terry, Missed this bit about your missus, is she better now?

She`s much better, thanks, John, but still not quite up to venturing into Wales!

PS Thanks for the simple itinerary. Saved me a job - I was going to type one out to give to folk at Crewe. I`ll just copy yours! See you tomorrow!

Looking forward to it Terry, AndyG is following me up as well.

My missus is slowly recovering now and she has actually got more hair than me, I've told her to forget the wig tomorrow as she's amongst sensible people and no need to be embarrassed, but you never know wiggy may make an appearance :)

I *may* try and pop over at 9:30 to say hello, but wont be travelling on to Ponderosa and Llangollen. I'm not a million miles from Crewe.

Well, that was a very pleasant morning out! Some very sociable, non-ASBO convoying on the way to the Ponderosa and a coffee, outside in lovely sunshine when we got there. On the way back I was a bit less sociable and a fair bit more asbo-ish, which was nice! I think I enlivened a quiet Sunday morning for the lucky few who witnessed me passing and it reminded me why I will never sell the Frankenspyder! Awesome!

Big Thanks Terry for a very sociable day, we really appreciate your organising it.

Great to see every one else including Amit, pleasure to meet you.

Not been on here a year, but can vouch for everyone being cracking people to socialise with.

Good to meet you all. I think we could still hear Benny when we stopped in Wrexham.

...............and I`m sorry that I was rather abrupt when we first met - I can only plead desperation to get to the loo!! Hope that you managed to get all the DIY sorted!

A great day out. Thanks for organising Terry.

Just got pulled over by an unmarked car almost at home. Warned to curb my speed but no ticket

To use an old Lancashire expression, you`re the sort of person who, if you fell off the Co-op, would fall in the divi, Mick! No ticket! Mind you, I suppose you talked him out of it! Dare we ask what speed you were doing?

I don't think I was going as fast as he thought. He reckoned they had to top 80 in a 60 to catch me after I'd overtaken him

I did slow to 40 for the 40 and 30 for the 30 so that probably helped.

That's what annoys me about the siting of the camera vans on open roads at good overtaking spots , you want to be out, past and in as soon as possible .

If you'd been speeding in the 40 & 30 you'd have 3 points now but a copper with some sense saw you were a sensible driver where it really matters.

I'm sorry to have missed this , up at 4am today for a trip to Barcelona this morning and too much on yesterday

It was good to meet you all at Crewe Hall, being a Maserati owner for all of 5 days! I do hope we might stay in touch through this forum or PM's for help and advice. John: I'm too new to Massers, but have lots of very good contacts in the Porsche circle if ever I can help.
