This is something I was going to suggest. There is a decent pub about 5 mins drive from the circuit called the Fox and Barrel that does nice food and has a decent car park. If people have the time it would round the day of quite nicely.

If we cant get enough interest for the Sunday meet then we can always meet for breakfast on the Monday and Convoy to Oulton. Anybody else available for the Monday ?

On Monday at 11:15, a convoy of exotic Italian supercars will arrive in the venue en-masse, and park opposite Chequers restaurant. Fans will be able to take a closer look at beautiful machines from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati!

Make sure you finished the pimms by the time the historic touring cars are on,
that's a race you don't want to miss, britains is a good place to watch it from , you see island bend where a few usually end up on the grass, they've taken the trees out so you can see shell hairpin now ,then you get the fast straight down to britains where there's always some action through the chicane , if they get it wrong they hit the kerb going into hill top, a guy in a MX5 took off there on Saturday then bounced on the grass for 50m, I bet that rattled his fillings ,I didn't get a picture because I had that awwww look on my face as I saw it bouncingIt's a bit of a walk or you can drive up there via the knickerbrook entrance , for those that don't know how knickerbrook got its name blaster bates explains

Ill be there the Monday only, can make a breakfast meetup beforehand. Shame x pipes wont be fitted for this, they are now being done the day after :-(

Miles, I spoke with David Morris yesterday and told him there would be approx 8 Masers etc, and he was delighted. He is going to e-mail me the finalised details but it looks like a 10.30 am meet at Lymm services (the junction between the M6 and M56) and a convoy across en-masse to Oulton which is about 30 mins away. As soon as I get final confirmation I'll post it up.

Thanks Mate, though I assume the 8 Masers paled into insignificance when you mentioned the mighty Fiat spluttering along at the back!?
