Hi Guys,
I have to strain to hear the reversing beeps and I only have the standard exhaust at this stage.
Has anyone relocated their buzzer, or upgraded it?

Thanks, I've never listened to anyone else's reversing beeps so that's good feedback.
I'll have to ferret around and find the 'beeper' and see if a previous owner hasn't muted it in some way.
Can anyone give me directions to save time? I know where the alarm horn is.

The beeper is under the rear shelf. Remove the cover under the centre arm rest, remove 4 bolts and take out the back rest (might get away with just tipping it forward). Behind the drivers side headrest there should be a little speaker screwed to the stereo speaker support.

Similar subject - Has anyone noted how quiet the indicator click is on the coupe?...Would drilling some holes into the relays cover let more sound out, or is it hidden so far out of hearing it would make no difference?

Peter, the indicator click on all modern cars is just another CAN-Bus generated sound from the speaker under the dash... Hence the much louder one on the hazard lights!

Thanks Zep. Good project for this weekend

Enjoy! Be careful removing the cover panel under the arm rest. I read somewhere the clips are fragile, although I didn't break any.

I had thought about a modification for the indicators, so that I either get a brighter light flashing, or a louder sound, I can forget it's on very easily..!!

Well I never. Mine are quiet too. Surely it's just a solution looking for a problem

Maybe the click is too loud on some German cars, it would explain why they never get used...

I cannot even hear the indicators in the Spyder with the roof down, I regularly get caught out driving along with an indicator on!!

Likewise. And every time I realise that I've driven the last 5 miles with the f*ckers flashing I feel like a MAF, which is much the same as a tw4t. ;)
