Phoenix Bespoke Keys

Well, the blue cheese crumbled and having repaired my key - and having toyed with the replacements on eBay (the blades on the Chinese ones often snap in the ignition I am told) I plumped for Phoenix. They transfer and secure all the
internals into the new housing and then can do whatever you want with the casing. I elected
for the fob to be painted in the OEM blue with a Maserati logo, but with red stripes to signify the GTS
model and all for a lower cost than a replacement OEM unit. The key works
perfectly and it feels much more robust and to be honest it’s so tight it’s a joy. They cut a new blade which I didn’t expect - but, whilst it’s not cheap- I am pleased! It’s “feels” really nice 894388943989440

So they will quote - but all in mine was £400 but the base price is less. Now at this point you, like me might feel mmmm, but the quality is lovely and compared to the faff of a new OEM key….no brainer as it’s still made of Stilton!

I totally agree with this. In fact, mine was the first key they attempted to do (See link above)
There are pics on a different thread on here, mine was painted in the Nero carbonio exterior colour.
As you rightly point out, the quality and feel of the key and the way the blade swings out is just another level to the OEM key which then feels like a piece of Lego In comparison.
I can highly recommend Chris and his team.

I broke my original. Broke the chip getting it transferred to a new shell. No alternative then.
So a new OEM key in OEM Blue with proxy align is about £600.
About the same as this.

That might have been a top secret introductory offer for early adoption...

Nope - I saw @Bebs post and contacted Chris - we discussed what I wanted, he did me a mock up of what it would look like and it was £411 including the Royal Mail postage return - or about £400!

No special offer, no “deal” for a good review, just a punter buying a key and then sharing my thoughts! Tough crowd today….

I paid £324 for a new key for my GT from Merdien Modena. Had to send a copy of my V5 and DL to them. Got SportsItalia to program it for me when the car was in for a bit of work.

Agree. The Chinese replacement shell that was going to use before I destroyed the chip broke while handling.
The major cost was realignment and would have gladly used Matt's service but this was before they had the capability.

It's not really proxi alignment. The car's memory of all keys is deleted, then the required ones are all added into one of the modules (can't recall which one). Proxi alignment is more about getting several modules talking to each other.
