Possible Ghibli Purchase Advice

Nice, but expensive! Don't know if red are the best on Ghibli. Doesn't show those wide arches so good...

I agree, a little expensive and I'm not a big fan of red either, darker more subtle colours suit the Ghibli much better.

That red is a lovely looking thing but I am also starting to see the appeal in a dark blue car too. I've decided to hang on for about 3 months to see if a RHD car becomes available but if nothing happens by spring, I will widen my search to LHD. In the meantime I'll enjoy window shopping so keep them coming. Ideally I'd be after as late a GT car as I can find.

I guess I need to go and see some physical cars now to see if I get on with it but there aren't exactly loads sitting on the forecourts. Are there any meets planned in the London area at some point in the new year that I could pop along to?

Hi Guv,
I've recently bought Arfa's Ghibli (2.8 auto), you're more than welcome to take a look at it if you want to see one. I'm near Newbury.

Nice Ghibli you have there Dunc, seen it personally a few times when Arfa owned it.

I've wanted one since the 90's, it's just taken a while to get there and to then find a goodie! Arfa's certainly put a lot of effort into getting right and I'm chuffed to bits with it.

Congratulations on the purchase. Newbury is a bit off the beaten path for me but if I am down that way and you are available then I may take you up on your very kind offer. Good luck with the car!

Thats a great car you have there and yes, you would be horrified is you knew just how much he put into it, but thats your gain now I suppose, well done and welcome.

I put plenty into it to finish it off, but yes, Arfa did let me have a cracking car. I really enjoyed it for the short time I had it and took it to a couple of events. Duncan will look after it and make sure it's kept tip top for many years to come.

Thanks for the warm welcome. The depth of the history file shows how has been put into it to get into the amazing condition it's now in, just glad it wasn't my bank account!

So, had to cancel my trip to Milan. Due to a court hearing I had to attend because I'm a witness in the case. Today I got message that the hearing is postponed. This mean that I still can go. (did not cancel plane tickets)... Unfortunatley my big dream of meeting the silver GT is crushed. Got a message that he had recieved payment for the car today! :(

So, I can always see the two other, but I know I don't want them. Always nice with a trip though, and I get to try a couple of cars.

Have you seen the silver Ghibli that's very recently been listed on Enrico's site? If I hadn't already filled a Ghibli sized space in the garage I think I'd be on my way to Italy, it looks lovely.

Looks good, but not a GT.
