Hi Phil

I'm based in Sunny Portstewart Norin Iron and the lucky owner of 4 4200's (don't ask - I has a very understanding wife!!). Purchased an X431 Pro3 last year with the latest software updates so should be up to the job of setting the PIS. Have change a few clutches over the years on the manual cars but not had the pleasure in a CC equipped 4200 yet so happy for you to contact me if you wish to plug your car in and do the setup. The process seems relatively straightforward and I like Guinea pigs LOL.

Happy motoring,

Terry

If your do decide between the two of you to go ahead and set your own PIS then if you need it feel free to PM me and i will send you my number. Happy to talk you through the process on the phone if you need the assistance.

Hey Simon I’ve went on to Amazon and there are a bewildering array of launch x431’s. Can you recommend which one I should be looking at?
Thanks again, Neil
Hi Neil,

Looks Like you've got a solution now but as Phil said the Pro s seems to be the way to go. I bought a Texa system as it was the cheapest available at the time but the Launch is much better value. The Easy MAS looked like it could have been a good option but sadly the price just doesn't work for the personal user.

I found that I needed to tweak the PIS a number of times as the clutch was bedding in to get the optimum performance.

Cheers,

Simon
