Wow, that's a lot of cash for a 924! I'm hopeful I'll be able to create something better looking, no big plans to change bodywork etc. I shall be cracking on with the car on Sunday; the weather will determine either the engine coming out of the 944, or the dismantling and cleaning of already-removed parts. I'm a fair-weather car builder!

...quite a lot, after visiting the Porsche museum in Stuttgart last week!

...must add that I accompanied a old school friend that is a complete Porsche nutter, and I wore a T shirt with a massive Trident on the front, saved just for the occasion!

Bugger! This must be my most short-lived project - it's terminal and won't be completed. Somebody at some point has spent a lot of time and effort bodging the car and covering up some serious rot. If only they'd spent the same time repairing it properly! Outer and inner sills are definitely shot on one side, probably the other. The floor had a very nasty repair that crumbled when I touched it and the rear suspension pick up points aren't attached to the car!!
