Always enjoy my contact with Dicky. Sure he sold you a nice car. Just remember its Italian so the electrics might be strange!

Welcome Moparmuff. We try to be helpful. Sometimes we even succeed :)

I still yearn after a QP :)

Thanks for the warm welcome Guys - just drove 200 miles home and had no idea of the sense of occasion and how rare these cars are I might have to drive the
wife's Fiesta into work tomorrow to avoid the jealousy and resentment

Welcome to the forum, MOPARMUFF. I think that you'll find that the very best posters on here just happen to own and run QPs.

Thanks for all the replies now I have a few questions to ask so here we go:

What does the "Sport" button actually do - (I have tried it)

Is there a volume setting for the parking sensors (too quiet with music on)

Can you disable the seat belt warning buzzer

Where do you guys get your tyres from

What is the difference between the Exec and the GT

Is it fully auto or CC? If the latter, the sport button quickens up the paddle shift gearchange significantly. Although, don't leave it in auto and then engage "sport". Put the car in manual too. It also stiffens up the suspension.

Can't give advice on QP (CoupeCambioCorsa) but can give massive support for Richard Grace. You'll be well looked after. Dickie supplied my car as well.

Elliot is absolutely correct and welcome to the astonishing world of QP upmanship.

In sport the whole car tightens up, the suspension gets firmer, the steering feels more 'on it', the mapping of the engine and the throttle response is more eager and as said the shift time is cut by 35% but it still adapts to your driving style so if you just pootle in sport it will become more subtle but as soon as you get on the gas it picks up the game very quickly.

Great car hope it steals your heart.

The exec and gt models have different interior trim, wheels and grills. The gt is aimed at the sportier driver, while the exec (with its rear picnic tables) is aimed more at the....er........executive!

Tyres - try www.camskill.com (or is it .co.uk?)

Having bought from Dicky I'm sure you have a good one. It's a shame he doesn't post on here as often as he used to. Nice chap.

GT has vented/drilled discs and is slightly lower on different springs than the Exec for that sportier ride....Plus the GT has those lovely 20'inch wheels which you have on yours...The Exec had the thinner spoke ones......I believe that the GT came with carbon dash....

Most of your questions have been answered, the remaining ones are:

Seat belt warning buzzer can't be disabled, unless, you put on your seatbelt!
Warning buzzer can be altered in the settings menu on the Satnav screen.

Oh and thanks Ewan & Malcolm, rather busy at the moment but I'm still here.

Welcome! Both Elliott and BJL are spot on :) Chris is only jealous as his lust for a QP is apparent...

Exec has more toys, including rear heated/cooled/massaging rear seats :)

One difference not yet mentioned in Sport mode, is that the traction control is significantly decreased compared to normal mode.

Hope you enjoy your new purchase :)

Drew, heated massaging & cooling seats are a (rare) option but picnic tables do come as standard in an Exec.
