I was a child of the 70's but had to suffer some of the Dros I mean Bros of the 80's. Some great music around in the 80's but we all tend to forget the cr4p that was around as well. Milli Vanilli, Zig Zig Sputnik, Joe Dolce to name but a few.

Now as for the shredded wheat question. Its one strand as granny knitts them. So it must be one strand only. ;) Except if she has finished one ball of wheat and has to join another ball of wheat on to finish.

An alternative answer would be based on how many strands are in each layer of the criss cross (not the 90's rapper) before they are cut. I will take a guess at 40 x 25 which would give you 1000 in total but don't make a meal of it. ;)

They used to have have bigger grannies to make the shredded wheat. Sadly they were killed in an accident when they were crushed by a giant knitting ball of wheat. It was a cerial killer. ( I'll get my coat) ;)

I've just seen the question and was going to say about DLS!!! Great guys, I worked with them when I was at their record label a few years ago, happy days - thanks for the reminder Phil!
