He was indeed!

Which building was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott (exterior) and J. Theo Halliday (interior) and which is currently undergoing a substantial redevelopment?

Too much time on planes leads me to think I know this one. Watched a programme on GGS and his dynasty and given the undergoing refurbishment I would plump for Battersea Power Station

We can see that from our office. It's remarkable watching the chimneys shrink.

Always loved it from the moment I saw it from the halls of residence at Uni.

Bahhhhh the only question I would know the answer to and I don't read the thread and someone beats me to it.

Interestingly I am going down to the site on Monday for a walk around.

I'd invite you for a coffee, but I'm not in the office :)

That was quick, well done!

It's a lovely building - I was born in Battersea in the 1970's and it pretty run down in the 9 Elms district but look what they're doing to it now? Even the USA think the area is worthy of their embassy so who are we to argue with the world's police?

Over to you sir

I'll do a maths riddle.

During a recent census, a man told the census taker that he had three children. When asked their ages, he replied, "The product of their ages is 72. The sum of their ages is the same as my house number."

The census taker ran to the door and looked at the house number. "I still can't tell," she complained. The man replied, "Oh that's right, I forgot to tell you that the oldest one likes chocolate pudding."

The census taker promptly wrote down the ages of the 3 children. How old are they?

I can come up with an answer for the 3 kids' ages but what does that have to do with the house number?

I get 3, 4 & 6 living at # 13 but is it right, who knows and what does it have to do with the 6 year old liking chocolate pud?!?

For any information that one of the children likes something to be helpful it must point to the fact that two of the children are the same age i.e. twins.

There are multiple sets of numbers that answer the first 2 parts but only two sets answer the last part

2, 6, 6
3, 3, 8

As the eldest likes Chocolate Pudding it must be the latter so children ages are 3, 3 & 8

Zagatoes you are right. Well done! Seems like it was a bit too easy for the clever people here.

So the twins have to like the same thing???

Ok, I'll let it go!

Nothing to do with what the others like more that there was an eldest.

Yes you could argue one twin is older than the other but that would mean there would be multiple answer to the question.
