Well I clearly haven't inspired anyone with this one so I'll give it to Martin; I was looking for the seventh who was actually the first!
Henry I declaired Matilda his daughter the Heir Apparent when his only son was killed at sea. However upon his death Matilda became the Presumptive Ruler of England 7th April 1141 but her reign was disputed, a period of anarchy ensued and she was de-throned on 1st November 1141 and never crowned. Ironically however her son was crowned as Henry II 19th December 1154. This is most peculiar as it would imply that her lineage was unquestionable and as such her removal a travesty.
She rarely appears in the history books though.

Spencer Percival was the only assassinated PM and Adrian was the English Pope, around 1100. You can blame spitting image for the first answer and being a curious Catholic on the second.

I think the pope was Adrian 1V whose real name was Nicholas Brakespear
