Thats two very subtle hints I've given. The other one is in post 656. Although that one is a little too subtle to stand out. I'm not fretting though somebody will be along with the right answer soon. ;)

I think we must assume Dave is "away from keyboard"...... someone else will be along shortly, having guessed how we know he knows ...

Talk to AndyK and Mr.Cambio about guitars....

I saw AndyK's post with the picture of his latest purchase.

Richard Gere's auction was his collection of vintage guitars and amps. Must have been some collection to reach almost $1 million.

Crikey... Les Pauls ?... and whats the pointy one ?...

I'm plodding along with a sweet 339 and a couple of Fenders... right now... an just picked up a Reverend Bass... (short scale.. which is a bit niche...)

Perhaps a Forum Band is in order ?...

Forum band ! Only if i can play air guitar. Yes i am that bad

The Blue one is a Gibson Les Paul Robot.
The Red LP is a Epiphone version of the Slash Snake Pit guitar.
The red pointy one is a B C Rich Mocking Bird ST which comes with a straight through neck.

I could talk all day on Guitars, I have about 13 with about 5 being 'good ones'
Anyway my question.
This ship the USS Phoenix survived the Pearl harbour attack unscathed, however she later went down in an equally controversial attack, but under what name?

It was sold to Argentina and the name was changed to The General Belgrano. The US navy nicknamed it something along the lines of USS Lucky or Invincible as she survived Pearl Harbour and several other close shaves.

I read a lot of QI books and the like. I can't always recall the exact details but I usually remember the main facts. I try and learn at least 3 or 4 random bits of information every week. Thats part of the reason I started the thread.

The question from me is : Which film or TV show was the first to show a fluhing toilet ?

Loads of weird and wonderful facts about this one.
