The spurs could contain rohypnol for use during mating season. Mr platypuss Jumps on lady platypuss calls her someone elses name and then digs his spurs in and hangs on for dear life until the venom kicks in to subdue her.

I dont know the answer but what i do know may trigger someone else to answer.

Roosevelt would have been just coming into office or just taken office in 1933 which coincided with the end of the prohibition.

Machine Gun Kelly (not the rapper) was if memory serves a bank robber turned kidnapper. He had a partner called eve or evelyn i think but im not sure of her name. A bit like a bonny and clyde gang. There were other gang members as well. Ive watched or read something about J Edgar Hoover setting out to catch them.

Ingrid Bergman was an actress of the same era and Grace Bradley i dont know the name at all.

As to what links them i have no idea other than the names i do know were all around in the prohibition period and the end of prohibition.
