And we have a winner, they all died on their birthdays and yes 23rd April was Will's birth and death day

Over to you

Hmm, bit of a guess. So let's see......

So like the UK, the US have postal stamps that pay homage to celebrities, famous people humanitarians and so on. *But* there is one group of people that are specifically prohibited from being so honoured. What is that group?

It use to be that anyone still alive was not allowed on a US postage stamp, I think they even stipulated how long you had to be dead - just in case ;) but I thought that had changed, I may be wrong I often am

Why am i hearing Roy Walkers voice saying " it's good but its not right ! " :)

Because it it :) Your answer is correct. Current presidents *are* prevented from being on stamps. But that's because they fall into the catch all group of those that are prohibited. So we need a broader definition.

If I can think of a clue before I have to board, Ill post one, otherwise when I land at about 2300 ish

Any official still living including politicians and members of the armed forces.

Again, close, but too prescriptive. If you broaden it some more, you'll be there.

**** this jet lag has hit hard. I'll be up in the morning to provide further input.

Any person deemed worthy of award or recognotion that is still living. As an example someone that raises millions for charity could be bestowed with awards both home and abroad but be excluded from selection for a USA stamp.

Surely there's been an executive order in the last few weeks to only allow current presidents on them?

That's about it. You can't be alive and on a stamp. Go figure.

Yours, Kenny :)

Zag said something very similar in post #6866.

This should be a quick question for you lot.

Apart from London name the four other UK cities or town that have hosted the eurovision song contest ?

Bonus point if you know how many times the UK has won.

I cannot comment on this as any positive response would infer that I knew anything about such a contest

Exactly - well said that man. Not a question, may I ask though, if anyone has heard the French language version of Abba - Waterloo? ;)

No, and I prefer to keep it that way. That lot have brought nothing to modern society and, most probably, have ruined a pretty good Swedish song sung in English.
