Evening has anyone ever fitted one of these android rear mirrors?

I posted something up about them last year. Cheap ones are about £40 the more expensive ones are £190 with self tinting anti glare built in. The two main options to fit are either clip on and recharge option or hard wire and fully replace the existing mirror.

Google maps, front and rear camera and blue tooth phone / music are all options.

Once you put your destination in then it display the map on a the screen which reflects like a normal mirror when not in use and still acts a mirror. Its probably less distracting than looking at a tom tom or phone to navigate.

Have a look on youtube. The germid brand ones were better from memory.

Throws a spanner in the theory that a car can be interpreted as a relative time machine - with the front window being the future, the interior being the present and the rear view mirror being the past.......if the RVM is at one time the past, present and the future then time is folding in on itself.............
Then again, it could simply be just another useless gadget ;)

Oh I like that! So the presence of the mirror means the car becomes its own time warp!

Unless its approaching you from behind and not stopping. Having seen you driving at brunty. What was behind you became your present and then future and then just a spot on the horizon ! :lol2: only joking Chris. :)

Miss the Heads Up Display (HUD) on my M5 where it showed speed , Rpm in form of a colour coded rev meter and sat nav directions when on. All cars should have them now IMO.
