Craig is a strapping lad to be fair.

Well, now that we have Trump, I might migrate really soon! I see not only did we crash Canada's website we did a number on ya'lls too! If I come over I can help....lol.

Guys if you really have a problem dropping the gear box by itself, drop it with the entire subframe attached. Next time I do a clutch (should be soon) I will try and either picture document it or video it for you guys. I usually do it on my own which is why I wiggle it out the back, but I still have to loosen the rear sub to give me better clearance. The older 4200's didn't have the sound deadening material wrapped around the gear box so those were even easier.

Re your spare front bonnet badge, I am interested - how bad are the scuffs and how much are you looking for.
Cheers Ed

The corrosion is a really small dot above the "i" in Maserati, and on he edge of the badge just above that. Make me an offer Ed.

My turn now...

How to get round replacing a anti roll bar bush! Hence why I prefer to do most the work myself!

Also in the rear subframe where marked there are a few M6 studs I cannot work out what they do. See pic below:

The two screws in the green ring I think are for the wire clips that hold the handbrake cable?? Can anyone confirm?

The two studs in the white and red circles I cannot figure out what they do at all. Any ideas?

Good work and nice contrast with the springs and roll bar.

Attachment won't open, have plenty photos of when mine came off / apart so will be able to help.

Hey Arnie are your uprated anti-roll bar from formula dynamics? Are the drop links standard or uprated too?

All standard GS. The ARBs on a GS are thicker than on a 4200. The drop linsk are new std. There are no decent quality non OEM alternatives that I could find.

Been back in the garage today and now have got the rear subframe in. Greg - it wasn't easy to get lined up with a transmission jack where we could set the tilt! I don't envy what lies ahead for you!

And I only have 2 parts both the same that I cannot find in any of the Eurospares drawings and cannot figure out where they go:

Only the green circled holds the n/s hand brake cable, the other studs are not used on mine.

It looks a bit better now than this pic!

Not seen those on the rear frame, so can't help I'm afraid.

I'll have a think when I'm next under her!

Could they be for attachment of wires for gear change on manual versions?
Nice work!

Progress - rear axle all in and plumbed up. Just the wheel well and Larinis to fit at the back. Front still waiting on having uprights fitted and a skim of the front discs. DSC_0124.jpg

Looks really good.

Mine is coming along but part supply is slowing it down, just need the Goodridge brake lines now.
