Really? I thought i was going blind....booked myself in to an optometrist

Best thing to do.

Hopefully it's just an issue with liquid seeping into the back of the eye, my friend had it and they could either do laser work or leave it to go away on its own. He was back to normal after 2 months without the lasers. They said it was stress related (going through a divorce).

...and here we are in the office at Heathrow!

Weather forecast for tomorrow sounds grim - hope no-one on here is in the flood-risk area around the Thames just west of here.

There's snow forecast for South Wales and S West tomorrow and Weds. Take care out there everyone.

Looking forward to getting stuck in to making some progress on the new business venture today. Still in the planning stages but there's a lot of research to do.

Has anyone on the forum got any experience with doing business in China and importing from PRC/Taiwan in to the UK?

Morning all, thrid week of my chest infection and actually on the mend now. Going to take it easy and go for a brisk walk and steam room session at the gym. Have a great week and lets hope the rain will come to an end and we start getting some proper spring weather soon.

Morning, god its wet here.

GS going off for dent removal on Wednesday, just a few parking minors.

Put the private plates on at the weekend, I dont have the nod from the DVLA but I am hoping this will be done by Wed as its been a week already and they are usually very quick.

Had to remove the passenger door card for the dent guy to get to one blighter plus I have a rattle, a broken wing mirror and new Alpine component speakers to fit. I am going for exactly the same ones as in my last GS:

http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/showthread.php/982-Speaker-upgrade-Alpine

They were excellent and the use of Dynamat makes an unbelievable difference.

Went round also and attended to a few scratches, once that lot is out of the way, I can get onto the SM exhaust that Benny is helping with again.

Then its just the front end to repaint, the front bumper.

Good progress, Matt. You'd think from the photos that it was immaculate already. It'll be even better by the time you're done with that lot.

What did you use to deal with the scratches? Did they come out with a litte T-Cut (or similar) or did you need to take some fine-grade wet and dry to them? Hardly the weather for it, though. Tasks like that are far more of a pleasure when it's not pi55ing wth rain!

Morning all, struggled earlier waiting for the mechanic to open so I could leave the van for turbo repairs, person under train on Liverpool St line but squeaked it onto 10.00 to Newcastle, screaming across Middle England now, blooming quick!

Simon, done lots of work, importing from China & have a brother living in Taiwan if you need someone on the ground out there, pm me :)

She is very good, just not "Matt" good.

I am very very picky with my cars, every blemish, rattle and sympathetic upgrade has to be addressed, think its why my cars always sell on well.

I'm having more of a traditional British rail experience...crawling through Stoke to be diverted onto a local line and now following a stopping train. So we are stopped waiting for a single-line track to clear.

Hopefully only a half hour delay in total. They are blaming "the rain" for the diversion. Not even sure what that means. Just watched Top Gear to keep me sane, not bad for early evening entertainment.

The train service up to Leeds, York and Newcastle really is good. I did it a few times a year or so back and was amazed at how fast you can get to the opposite end of the country. I quite enjoyed it, too. Watching the countryside change as you head out of London and into the countryside makes you remember quite what you a beuatiful little island this is, mostly. The drinks trolley is pretty good, too.

Hello All!

I'm back.

Had a great week of skiing in Val d'isere. For those of you that know it, I skied down La Face. It was slow with traverses, but hey i got down it. This was only my second week skiing.
For those that do not... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJytGkoh1cE

Chris - Hope you've got the car back and the house hunt is going well.

Dem - Go to a doctor! Hope you are feeling better soon. Wonder who the footballer was, but they can only be joining Arsenal or Spurs. Given the area, my guess would be Spurs.

Matt - Who do you use as your dent chap? I still need to get my wheels done.

Everyone else - HI! Glad to see you are munching on crumpets and have been "enjoying" the weather.

Afternoon all. Greetings from Boston where there's a foot of snow, and bright sunshine.

Not seen much of it, and won't get much chance to this trip, but what I do see looks nice :)

Had a play over the Peak District this afternoon, Rob. A good way to reacquaint myself with Doris. Some nice roads up there, not sure of the route, just kept away from busy roads.

Yes Chris we do have some nice driving roads up here and the scenery can be stunning, welcome back Doris..!!

Ross, 45 mph on ski's and you say you dare not drive really fast in a Maser, you are not making that excuse anymore if you can do 45 with your feet on the floor..!!
