Morning, all.

Phil, nice win! I love those Golfs. Such a beautiful shape. You must be chuffed.

Sorry to hear about the shite weather. Flooding's been causing a few issues at home so I'm not really looking forward to getting back to reality. Last full day on Como today, then up to the Black Forest via the Gotthard Pass tomorrow.

Have a good bank holiday, whatever you're up to. And if you're up to Oulton Park have a blast.

Morning all,

Been a bit quiet on here the last three days as I have been manically preparing for grandson's Baptism yesterday which included getting the marquee up and boy am I glad I didn't go for the 6.0m wide one as it would have been impossible to put up... Aftermath of the party being dealt with by others as I have a few inspections to go and do in a bit (must be completed in the month) so I have an exit excuse.

Other tasks achieved before the party included replacing the hall carpet (toughest it of canvas backed 80% wool I've ever tried to cut!) all new door strips as well and then mid morning yesterday SWMBO orders me to 'tighten the tap' in the downstairs bathroom; this did not go well when the braided hose under split off the tap!!!!! Quick dash to turn it off and a run to Homebase for a replacement to then have the gate valve on the tank decide it wasn't going to be happy about moving for the first time in years to burst a leak.... I was not 'happy' shall we say...

Have fun all.....

Morning all. Somewhat jaded this morning. I've just seen the pictures from the BBQ we went to yesterday.
I'm holding a near empty bottle of Sambuca. That'll be the reason! :(

Hi Dem, same here...Think we were all trying to keep hold of the last few days of holiday.....You still looking at a BMW Diesel .... Was looking at a 4 series Gran Coupe yesterday...Makes the 3 series redundant as far as I could see.....Looks better and is far more practical. When I drove the XE Jag I really liked it but must say they still have not got the quality of the BMW....The interior trim is far more superior in the BMW......

Erm... No not really!

Happy Birthday to Mrs Catman...

Respect, chap, Seriously I couldn't keep up that pace.

I shall pass on your best. Mrs Catman is currently being drenched in Kettering I suspect. Mrs Catman's cat is currently looking like a drowned rat. *Maybe* next time he'll come in when I whistle. Prace bets now!

Almost time to say bye. 33deg C. Back to dreary London as far as I can make out from the posts here?

Some lake and some island from our boat. Feel like James Bond.
