Good day going on here. Went to get a quote for a nose-cone respray and dropped in at Lancaster on the way home. They had a nice Aventador Spyder and this immaculate 328.

For £125k. Next to it was a perfect spec FF - Grigio Silverstone with Nero Alcantara interior. That was £270k. What p1ssed me off, though, is that we were completely ignored. Nothing. Sales people walked past, not even a greeting. So we went across the car park to Porsche to peer at the impressive two below and were invited in, given a coffee and generally treated like we existed. Which was nice.

Nothing worse than going into a showroom and being ignored. Dick Lovett in Swindon always go out of their way to show me round even in the service workshop!

It's the truth, Phil. If I was in the market for a new Ferrari or Maserati I know exactly the first place I wouldn't go. Tossers.

I won't argue with that, Ben. It's abundantly obvious to me that I don't have a pot to p1ss in, but I'd like it if they just humoured me. Anyway, Porsche had a far better coffee machine. And to be honest the showroom was nicer as well. I might go back next week.

My missus fancies something new so took her to look at a Merc 118 today, it was pi55ing down, as we wandered under Brolley the Merc guys stood under a canopy and called over etc, I ignored them but she can't help herself. Never done sales myself but can't help thinking if I did I would invest in a £2 brolley to get ahead!!!!

Morning all. The storm a appears to have blown itself out.
