Morning all.

Another interesting nights sleep, hot, then two storms. So am a bit cream crackers this morning.

Lots of work to do today, followed by dinner with friends tonight.

Have a good one all.

Cheers all, yes it was found less than 4 miles away, it has done some miles as they have ripped the petrol cap off to put gas in it as they were too thick to figure where the cap release is (even the emergency one in the boot evaded them!
Have fun all...

When I bought mine, I stopped at a petrol station to fill up, and looked around the car for 5 minutes before having to ring the previous owner to find out where the cap release was!
Where's the emergency one in the boot?

Red string behind the battery, there is a boot release cord also tucked under the rear seat bolster on the left side!

Job offer..?
Yes, again... It's always handy to have a Plan B!

Here's a safe, a small Thomas Withers item, it's kin heavy but is around 2'6" high by 2' deep and wide. No keys (so us about as much use as MAF's banana at Bruntingthorpe, ;-)) but what would you offer me for it.

Morning all. Off to Oxford first thing to drop the Ghibli off for the recall work. I'm getting a new Ghibli S as a courtesy car which will be handy for the dash straight to Dover to meet up with Matt. Luckily Ridgeway Maserati haven't taken delivery of the yellow Stradale they've ordered, so I won't be distracted. It'll be there when I go to collect my car next week, though....!

Morning folks. Well, it's our final day in the Bourgogne and we've decided to stay at our holiday abbey in the sunshine doing something between very little and nothing.

Absolutely maddening with my car though... They have been unable to get a radiator hose in time for me to drive back. Ffs, I could have ordered the part next day delivery from the UK last Monday!
So actually, today will be spent working out how I can get home tomorrow. The recovery have now brought it upon themselves to have the expense of relaying Lottie back to Oxford. They're suggesting a hire car to Calais, cross as foot passengers and then another hire car from Dover.
I'm going to try and arrange to drop off luggage in Lottie on the way up, but as a fair amount is grape juice, that can't be in an unaccompanied vehicle else I'll be importing and have to pay duty and tax. Looks like Chris and his wife will only have wine and essentials for luggage in the Mustang, and we'll put our other stuff in Lottie.

Then there's the faff that I have to be in Brighton for work on Tuesday morning, so shall have to take Myfanwy down on Monday night. And I have to have Lottie fixed by the weekend so I can return to France in business the following Monday.

I just think the recovery people haven't thought ahead at any point. They've gone and shot themselves in the foot with massive expenses and really inconvenienced me by only telling me after 5pm on Friday with a bank holiday weekend, so I have little ability to fix their mistakes myself.

Other than that, happy Saturday!

Morning all, hope it comes together for you Stevie, good luck all that are travelling, arrive safely and enjoy your day.

I am off to the garage to detail the GS this weekend so she is good enough to show off next weekend at Southend. Starting with the wheels and brakes as the wheels are off at the moment (not sure what I'm going to do about all the kerbing though! Wheels are a dark grey but it is hardly metallic and nothing like Mercury but I don't have the readies to get them refurbed just yet.

Still not been contacted by the police about the other one.

Have fun all...
