I'd stay home and freshen yourself up in that case. :)

I think it would take more than an hour to achieve acceptable levels of freshness :)

Finishing off in the office, then hail an Uber to go meet her at the airport, thence back to the Traders in KL for a couple of days

Morning all, really got to grips with the rope machine yesterday, not quite to plan to start with the most high profile site (MP involved with the condition) but going very well. Unbelievably tired last night because of the cold. Much to do today on this site and others.

Have fun all...

Back from Copenhagen to some lovely blue skies. Off on the school run and then to gym to burn off some energy. I find flying east is always worse for Jetlag but exercise, laying off the booze and sun definitely helped. Also keeping on UK timezone helps if you are only there for a few days but taking my sleeping bag to the office was a little frowned up lol :D

Good morning everyone!
I went for a swim first thing, but had to return home as I'd forgotten a certain element of clothing and it all felt a bit drafty! With that sorted I then took back the MB E220d I'd been given as a 2-day rental (having paid for almost the most basic). That's the first car in a long time that has genuinely impressed me. The only things I didn't like - too big for me, the colour and the prat-nav couldn't get a location lock.
Out for dinner this evening with some colleagues from the USA.
HapPea Thursday!

Morning all. Up early this morning for a cross country jaunt to Cardiff. May pop into Dick Lovatt on the way back to have a look at their Levante.

Morning all, whole house late to wake today, was tired it seems! More rope works today following some welding of fittings together. Got to find some bolts too.

Have fun all...

Morning all,

Had a great night's sleep for a change, so feeling nice and rested this morning. Two conf calls today and a definite target to finish before the end of the week. Given where things were at the start of the week I'm happy with the progress made and we might have something to show for the weeks work.

Planning a trip over to Hull tomorrow and looking for a pub or something for lunch in one of the outlying villages.

Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning everyone, had a long drive up to say 'goodbye' to a school-friend who died just before Christmas, the hardest part was looking at his son who was the spit of him when he was younger, really made grown men fight back the emotions. (We are Northerners!) Afterwards, was the catch up with people I hadn't seen for years some 30! No doubt there's going to be a picture posted of us soon on Facebook, if you see it, I'm the one still with hair and the right colour! We're not going to leave it again for 30 years or for the next funeral though before catching up again. Really drums it into you about life and enjoying yourself without p!ssing too many people off!
