Morning Andy washed the cars and cut the grass.
Having a little rest before friends come around and Sunday is a day out with the Porsche Guy's who let us join their group.
So a nice drive out with a viewing of a private car collection followed by a nice lunch.
Happy days :)

Morning,

Weather looks to be a bit better today. General sorting out this morning followed by car cleaning this afternoon. Thankfully the weather forecast is for sunshine later so that will be pleasant. Managed to book into the Motor Show at Harewood House for tomorrow in the Spider. It had completely bypassed me this year, will try to remember for next year and maybe see if we can get an SM display together.

Have a great day all

Hope you win big so you can afford the QP. Or is this just a beard so that you can see Olly Murs?

Wife and daughter(taxi driver) may watch, I will be in bar with my winnings, all though not sure the £2.50 each way bets will amount to a pint never mind cars!!

I'm not a big gambler...well not at all....not the luckiest at picking winners. Went to Tampa Bay Downs once & didn't have anything in the frame all day. Last race I backed half the field just to get a winner. Still got nothing in the frame!

If I give any tips....try the opposite

Fathers & son camping at ours today/tonight. Few beers, bbq and camp fire. After father & daughters camping last weekend I need some good quality sleep!

Missed out on a nice TVR Chimaera 500 yesterday as was too busy at work to do the deal quick enough & was pipped to the post. There must be a better one out there for me then! Not sure whether to go Griff, Chim or other.

Morning all. Up early for me on a Saturday as have the Merc booked in to have two rear tyres put on.
Exactly 366 days after the last ones were put on.

20 odd thousand miles out of a set of rear tyres is pretty good I think.

Then off to work. Joy!

Good Morning Everyone, in work at the weekend covering shift, and all is quiet. Lions just beat the All Blacks, which is good.
Went to the Festival of Speed yesterday, the Maserati had new 2018 GTS on the stand, along with the Ghibli, QP and Levante, and the sales people were gushing about it till I asked about the Alfieri, which seemed to put the saleswoman into a depression. I also spoke to the Alfa people if they were going to put the 2.9 QV engine in the Stelvio and the Italian Alfa man said with a smile on his face 'Si, dopo' , I replied 'Como le Levante?' and his smile got wider and with a nodding head he said 'Si!'.

So which would you prefer a Levante or Stelvio if they had the same engine? I'd know which would be most cost effective to live with, despite having common equipment.

Also the Mrs introduced me to Nigel, a McLaren 'Mechanic' who used to work with the likes of Senna, Prost, Hunt etc. but runs in fear of my Mrs as she keeps pestering him to have a go with the gun when changing a wheel. Nice chap, obviously very knowledgeable on the cars and one who would tell you a few stories if he were to go into after dinner speaking. Hmm....

Morning,

Early for a Sunday but things to do before heading off to the Motor Show at Harewood House. Blue sky overhead and the sun is reflecting off the houses on the other side of the village green. Hope that the weather holds.

Lazy day looking at cars and wandering around the gardens today.

Have a great day all

Morning all....great evening with friends....a little fuzzy this morning though.

Martin, sounds like you had a great day. Saw a picture of the Levante and Stelvio side by side the other day and they look very similar in side profile...l.

Morning. I bet there are a few sore heads in Newbury this morning.

Off to family lunch in Port Solent today.
