Went to Mini today just to see if it was worth chopping the Alfa Brera in for a new Mini for Liz in this scrap age scheme.....Sort of makes sense as I will get 2k more for the Alfa than what I was thinking of private.

Morning,

Scrappage would take the Brera off the road permanently Andy. Would be a shame to do that even though its running the fuel of the Devil ;)

Up early for the F1 then possibly back to bed.

Had a fun drive to a local Cars & Coffee morning yesterday. Loads of good back roads around here. Can't do it today as there is a marathon going on which pretty much buggers up getting anywhere useful.

Will have to clean the car after this though https://youtu.be/p8Xkz_hxW-I

Have a great day everyone

Morning all,

I finally got all the stuff that came out of the garage while we painted the walls & floor back into the garage yesterday and have got my gym back....

This will hopefully mean I can get back into some kind of exercise routine.

Hope you all have a fun Sunday!

Morning the joys of the Swedish DIY furniture shop this morning, at least its only the odds and sods bit so don't have to traipse around with the masses

Morning all, sat in the car park of Barnet RFUC having raced to get the youngest here for a match. Doubt they will actually kick off before 11.00 but their new coaches like to have a long warm up!

Found the issue with Alex's BMW R65 not charging last night after having changed the alternator rotor, brushes and clock springs but still not getting anything out of it! Turns out on those you MUST have a charge light or equivalent resistor wired in in a specific way to act as an exciter for the alternator to start to work. He did away with the charge light and as such has caused the isssue himself. He's the electronic engineer and I am electronically inept and it took me 10 minutes of internet searching to discover this nugget. Oh dear!

Have fun all...

You can't fool us that easily - your C2 still has a wrapper on the rail
Just kidding - how do you find the model D handle?

Morning all.
Run out late morning/this afternoon in the Stag, for charity fundraising to support one of our local paralympions for the winter games.
Might take the Maser out for a blast later in the afternoon if time!

Morning All,
Absolutely glorious in North Yorkshire. I know as I've just been a bit overdressed for a 38.8 mile cycle ride around it. Tad warm. Seen a load of Stags today Mick and a large group of Land Rovers, so must be some event on nearby.
Oh well, some diy and bike cleaning to do once my legs start working again.
