Morning all, never got round to fixing the welder or onto the site this weekend as many other things got in the way. So I have it all to do today as I'm off to Holland tomorrow.

Have fun all...

Good morning everyone, three days off this week and I've got to get the remaining contents of the Bournemouth bungalow into storage. Should be able to do it in one trip with a tail lift Luton van. Should also exchange and complete on its sale this week too.
Then I need to resist the urge to buy something else other than a house....

Morning everyone!

Martin, please don't be too sensible, but make sure you do affordability checks with man-maths.

A day in the office for me today then a trustees meeting at my church this evening. They're actually strangely enjoyable!
Only a three day week this week - Huzzah! Then there'll be four days of turning money into noise.

HapPea Monday!

Morning all. Shower pump transformer blown, anyone know where I can get a 34 or 36v 6A transformer from for sensible money (incase the pump has gone and in turn blown the transformer).

Bidding on one on Ebay but have to wait till it ends on Wednesday and getting nagged from the girls.

Belated good morning,

Couldn't get with it this morning but still managed to blast in with the roof down. Saw a little bump, fortunately in the wing mirror following a squeal of brakes. People really should look both ways when pulling out of junctions.

Short week this week, no work at all on Friday (hurrah). Sadly I do have some work to do for job two this evening.

Have a great day all

Get it into a classic mate. Forget houses the market is doomed!

Morning forum. Last full day here. Sigh

Still better to be leaving when I don't want to than being bored. Champagne breakfast in the room was lovely :)

Another proud dad moment as my eldest received her Fellowship at the Cartered Institute of Insurance:

At 27 that is a massive achievement, one to watch out for!

Morning,

Busy day for both jobs today. Job one I have some interesting things to do and to start knowledge transfer to a new starter. Job two I have to convince some colleagues that they've made some fundamentally poor decisions and need to revisit them and come up with a different approach. Going to be interesting. Wish I only had the one job at times.

Have a great day all

Morning all, quick pack and off to Kent to swap into another vehicle as we are off to Holland for three days to make some upgrades to machines that take two people to complete. Back on eurotunnel so soon will be emotional no doubt. Still we finish with an evening in Amsterdam which could get messy.

Have fun all...

Good morning!

Back to the Big Smoke today but hopefully not for too long. I want to try out my new Dodo Juice that's arriving today.

I had a refreshingly candid meeting with my CEO yesterday (meetings with him are usually good, so in comparison to ones in usually having) about a few stupid moral/people-being-idiots issues as he is genuinely concerned and has made it his priority to try and fix where possible.

Newton, massive congratulations to your daughter!
