Morning. Looks good down here at the mo.

Fitted the new battery on the Strad yesterday...twice!

Bought the recommended battery from ECP Bosch Silver S5 096, 79ah/790CCA...wrong!

It should be an 017 100ah 900CCA and it’s 120mm longer so be warned.

Bosch only do a S3 and it’s not up to OEM spec so went for an Exide branded.

It’s in and fired sprightly into life but not fully tested yet.

Good morning!
Yay for sunshine! I think I'll have a swim in the outdoor pool after work and then go home to wash Myfanwy for the weekend. I've neglected her on the cleaning lately - thanks to cr4p weather when I've had time to wash her.
Work job discussions were promising yesterday, but I've decided to be careful with my battles - gain all evidence for the case and take it directly to the big boss. That's after I overheard my immediate boss that was rather telling about him.
Anyway, hapPea Thursday!

Morning all. Maser into work today as it's dry for a change. And also as she'll get a wash later for Brooklands.

Taking Joseph to the hospital this afternoon for his 6 month check (under the hospital as he was premature) hopefully they'll sign him off as he's a big lad now!

In the meantime it's a case of sorting out loads of stuff at work.

I can remember those 6 months checks for about 3 years. He was 3 months prem at 1lb 6oz. Now he is 14 and almost as tall as me!!...........Good luck Mark, hope all goes well!

Good Day,
3 hours left for me and then that's it until Tuesday.
Going down to that there "London" for the Army v Navy Rugby at twickers, which will involve the consumption of lots of falling over water and food.
Will be good to see old comrades again, tainted by the news of more fallen......

Hoping to make a drive out with some Yorkshire folk Monday......if able..

Blimey! That was early!

Joseph was 6 week prem and was 4lb 12oz, but went down to 4lb 4oz. Thought he was tiny. Especially compared to now.
He's a right unit!

Afternoon,

Missed the morning somehow. Last working day this week, though I may pop into the office for a seminar tomorrow. Looks as though its starting to cloud over, but hopefully that'll be temporary and it'll be clear for the weekend.

Got flashed on the way in by someone that objected to me overtaking them. They were doing 40 in a national speed limit on a straight road with nothing coming so I don't know what their problem was. Still, it takes all sorts.

Anyway, have a great rest of the day all

Another challenging day.....My youngest Alex feel over in school a week ago .... Thought the grazes and cuts were clearing up but this morning his knee was bright red and up like a balloon. Doctor gave him antibiotics but he kept vomiting all afternoon so a tri to the hospital where they have put him on a drop to take the drugs. Luckily the infection isn't in the joints which they said would have been tricky....They are keeping him in for 48 hours though.....

Worrying Andy, sure he’ll be fine in a few days.

I got home mid afternoon so I hitched the trailer up and did a quick run to the scrap yard with cr@p from clearing the garage and an old filing cabinet, a bit of stainless, some d motors & transformers and a bag of old cable and came away with a cheque for £68.

Morning.

Strad into work today I need to check if the new battery has sorted the minor electrical gremlins (occasional gear unavailable/Park off) then prep for Brooklands. The passenger seat is already removed and the gazebo is in so that’s the hard bit done.

Hopefully the last day of GDPR which I’ve wasted weeks on so I can get back to earning some money again.

Got to pull the turbo on the Brera which is quite a big job due to a manifold to turbo leak and some numpty designing the nuts that are impossible to access in situ.

Have a good one, looks like we are going to have a cracking bank holiday weekend...weather wise.

Ouch. Best to him, Andy.

Off to the office this morning, then Optician's later to get my new, sparkly lenses checked. It's rock and roll, and no mistake

Have a great day, all.
