Excellent news, Andy!

Morning, all. Today I shall mostly be painting my new kwoon. On my own as Mrs Catman's Mother was rushed to hospital yesterday with a(nother) TIA. Seems to be OK but they wanted to keep her in and Mrs Catman is taking her Dad to see her today.

Still, I'm not Lawrence Llwellyn Bowen so it doesn't need to be Ideal Home standard

Have a great day, all

Morning,

Glad your son is on the mend Andy. I've done the hospital chair thing. It's not fun.

Sun is out for our SM Dales drive today. Car is all clean but it looks as though I've got some corrosion on the wheels, especially the centres. Luckily still in warranty, just. Will see what bumper to bumper coverage really means.

Have a great day at Brooklands those that a going.

Morning all, good news there Andy, not so good Chris, my B-in-L is Home at the moment but in daily visits and dialysis standby pending blood tests, looks like the kidney is going to reject soon. The present situation cannot continue as the present anti-rejection drug is basically a chemo treatment!

I have a weekend of installing the shutter and removing a hedgerow.

Have fun all...

Yes good news Andy, it is times like these that you realise how vulnerable we can be to a simple cut or graze.
Its not so long ago, before antibiotics, that you would either loose a limb, or die.
The problem is we need new antibiotics.

Morning to you all.
Hospital visits seems to be the theme at the moment.
Had a nasty off on my Enduro bike in the Bush yesterday.
Broke my collar bone getting me winched up into a Helicopter and 60 miles to the Hospital.
That's me off the Spanners for a few weeks :(

Thanks all......to right Mike. The cause was bits of rubber that got in the wound from when he played football on the 3G football pitch.

Morning all.....

Yeah I'm okay was certainly an adventure.
Never been in a Chopper before.
Certainly could see how remote we were from the air.
My mates just dropped my bike back all nice and clean.
I'm out of action for 6 weeks apparently and loads of painkillers.

Morning,

Great day turning money into noise yesterday. More sedate today. Going to find a spot to picnic and watch the Tour de Yorkshire zoom past. Then its setup for tomorrow's drive. The weather's looking great but that'll probably bring out the bank holiday drivers. Still, that's plenty of opportunties for overtakes :D

Have a great day everyone

Morning mob. Can you all be a bit more careful, please!

Back to the gym today. 5 coats to cover one purple wall. The other one will have to wait. Today hopefully get the dummy and the wall bag up, maybe the banner and certificates.

Then Mrs Catman wants lunch at the little Seafood Shack, which should be very pleasant indeed.

Have a good one, all

Morning all, flippin heck Phil, speedy recovery mate. Got a lot done yesterday in the garden including the first big box section concreted in. So current garden gate is now useless, a good measure up again this morning to determine the exact location of the second post and the new end stay for the chain link that sits in the hedgerow.

Have fun all...

Morning. Just woke up at Matin and Ira’s Brooklands after party.

Not been in the forum for 24hrs and it looks like it’s all kicked off!

Phil, sounds like you’ve had an adventure and what’s the story with Andy’s nipper?

A relaxing day nursing a hangover and best turn my single seater Strad back into a two seater.

Yep I did pretty much the same fall from Cycle the week before Christmas and by gum it was painful.
Here we are in May and I still get the odd pain and still not great to sleep on lhs. Best wishes mate.
A good looking day again today

Good morning everyone,

Head's a bit foggy this morning, can't think why! Great day yesterday at Brooklands and afterwards at ours. Thanks to those who came especially Stevie P, and filling up my drive with 4 Maseratis, a Z4 and Dem's alfa. Is this a record?
The neighbours got a nice wake up call this morning...

Another day doing nothing. Cars are all clean as is the house...and the developers team are off site so now work to check on at the barn.

So after breakfast I may just watch the fish and the lambs bouncing in the fields whist drinking Aperol.

Stay safe all.
