I will have one when I get home. With my Chinese meal.
When did having a good time become so much hard work.
15 minutes left on train.

One side of the frame fitted with track and the second post and fence post concreted in so should be able to build the shutter tomorrow no problem.

Morning all struggling trying to sleep upright with my arm in a sling but the painkillers doing the job.
Nice surprise last night when my mates turned up with my Bike looking showroom clean and no damage.

Well this was not the way we expected this weekend to turn out. Original plan as to have friends over Friday night, then painting party on my new gym on Saturday. Burton one: Friends mis-understood and thought they were coming for coffee. Once we got that sorted out, Mrs Catman's mother was rapidly taken into hospital on Friday morning following another TIA (about the 4th she's had)
So Mrs Catman has been looking after her father, with highly limited assistance from her brother (less said about him the better) and I've been trying to get the gym into shape. Bloody ****, I ache! *Five* coats of white to cover the vinyl silk *purple*. And of course I couldn't do the other wall simply not enough hands. Mounting stuff on the wall was *hard*. Bust one drill bit which has caused addition problems.

But it'll all be worth it. Tonight has been BBQ with bubbles to celebrate Mrs Catman's new contract. Back at the kwoon tomorrow to tidy up, get a couple more scrolls on the wall and sort the broken drill. Then dinner for Mrs Catman's dad after he's been down to Romford to visit Mrs Catman's mum. She's just waiting for a MRI scan as she's now fit and well enough to organise the entire ward....

It's all first world problems, so really not complaining. :)

Have a good night all

Ohhh. Haven't been here for a long time.

How is it going folks?

Well it seems I have a buyer for the Maserati. Price has been agreed. Yet to see the money - but I assume a couple of days due to the Bank Hols.

But it looks like it is farewell.

Not sure I will be back in a Maserati. Unless something amazing comes out and then it will be at least 5 years before I can afford a second hand one.

It has been a fun 4 years. Depreciation has been a bummer but oh well I guess you need to lose some money to have fun.

Had something planned as a replacement and then I cancelled last minute. Going to trying being daily carless for a bit and see if it works.

Also allows me to think and to save and see what my future choices are. We shall see how long I manage to hold out.

It has been a pleasure meeting you all. Thanks for inviting me on all the outings it has been great fun to share our passions on cars. Going to miss my Maserati.

What a weekend and I’m still at it, left Martins house this morning after a night of drinking and I met up with family for lunch where I sunk into some g&ts and then met with a friend to watch the footie and drank a few ouzo’s....I am ready for bed

Morning,

Woken up by the blasted creatures this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so I've been editing the Buttertubs Pass video from our Dales run on Saturday. Should be up on YouTube shortly.

Yesterday was pretty much wiped out by the long day on Saturday and spending ages trying, in vain, to get the Alfa Spider's hood to move at all. Binned the day and after refuelling the Ghibli sat in the garden soaking up the sun and had a BBQ.

Mini-run out today with a promise of ice cream at the end if we can find anywhere to park.

Have a great day all

Morning, all.

Phil, feck! I’m glad you’re ‘ok’. Get better fast, and in future remember to keep the bike between you and the ground.

Hoyin, hello fella. Well done on a fast sale. Anyone we know? Get yerself back in a nice car soon. You don’t want to become acclimatised to a life of tiresome mediocrity, devoid of joy and with no beautiful object of desire all of your very own.

A day mostly outside awaits. Yesterday I removed, cleaned and Gtechniq C5’d my rear wheels (and cleaned / treated the calipers while I was at it). Today the grass needs a cut, some stuff needs taking to the tip and a tree of some sort needs merciless pruning. And I need a coffee.

Good morning you lot, from a beautiful sunny mountain top in Portugal.

Martin, thanks to you and Ira for a great night on Saturday and good to see Matt and Dem.

I wish speedy recoveries to all those needing it (less so the ethanol induced ones though).

I think I'll go and find a beach soon.

HapPea Monday!
