Evening. Had a relaxing day at the Big Cat Sanctuary with Alex and Joseph.
The got everything ready for leaving at 5am for my 100 mile Ride London jaunt.

Have now raised over £1000 which is amazing so thanks to all on here who have donated.
It's very much appreciated. Can still donate if you haven't at www.justgiving.com/markbuckland73

Morning all, good luck Mark it’s certainly going to be cooling weather so watch out on those slippy roads...don’t use the brakes in the corners!

Morning All,
I know we wanted rain, but maybe not all at once.....I’m not a fair weather cyclist but I’m not totally stupid either, looking to get out later,
Good luck Mark, remember to feed and drink, force it down, the last 1/3 can sneak up...

Morning,

Much cooler today. Has put paid to going to the Ripon Classic Car show though. Don’t kind a bit of rain but all day and having to be recovered out of the mud later isn’t my idea of fun.

25 hours before seeing whether I can lose the boot and be able to drive again. Can’t wait.

Have a great day all

Good luck today Mark.

The VW camper is MOT ready, got to take it off the lift and check the headlight settings and a quick test drive maybe.

Got to make a space for it as the Mas has to go back in the garage today.

Have fun all...

People who organised a show for today do have my sympathy, lot of work goes into it I imagine and for the previous two months we've not seen a drop of rain and going by the weather forecast we're returning to hot weather again this coming week.

Newbury races are on today but looking out of the window it looks like a wash out. Great weekend doing a Wedding with performance runs where I suitably scared the bridal party and then a curry with Spart and co on Friday night. Day shaking of the beers yesterday and a chilling day today. As much as we all hate the rain this is much needed!

The rain was very welcome but some sun would be nice too now.

Morning,

Tax paid a day early. Wallet feels considerably lighter now.

Hopefully get this boot off my foot in a few hours and I'll be able to drive again. Its been a pain, in more ways than one, and I'll definitely take more care barbecuing in future!

Have a great day all
